Sing up now in the church narthex to volunteer for The Road Home hosting homeless families at LM March 27-April 3.  Contact Dale Lavelle (274-1228, dellbb@charter.net) or Larry Thies (845-9267, ldthies@charter.net) with questions.

If you are interested in a fun night of brats, music and friends on Friday, May 27 from 6pm – 9:30pm, email bethrahko@hotmail.com.

The Outreach Committee is looking for Volunteers to buy Christmas gifts, wrap them, and return them to the church by December 5.  These gifts are delivered to homeless or recently homeless families in Dane County.  Household supplies and personal items are also needed.  Sign up to purchase a gift, sort presents and/or deliver gifts (Saturday Dec.11) at the gift signup board in the church narthex.

Please consider volunteering to serve our community through The Road Home, as our church hosts homeless families this Thanksgiving week.  Contact Dale Lavelle (dellbb@charter.net) or Larry Thies (ldthies@charter.net) with questions.

IHN at Luther Memorial is looking for a volunteer to help fill in the volunteer signup board prior to hosting Road Home guests at Luther Memorial Church.  This person, working with Phyllis Pleuss and other coordinators, will help coordinate volunteers from our buddy churches – the Christian Scientist Church and Geneva Community Church – as well as volunteer members at Luther Memorial.  If you are interested, please talk with the pastors or contact the church office at 258-3160.

Our next hosting for homeless families will be the week of Thanksgiving, Nov. 21-28.  Because of the holiday week, we have a special need for volunteers who will be “home for the holidays”.  Please mark your calendars now and sign up when you see the sign-up board in the narthex.

Anyone interested in learning more about serving as volunteer coordinator or signing up for our next hosting should contact Dale Lavelle (274-1228 or delbb@charter.net) or Larry Thies (845-9267 or ldthies@charter.net)
